Russia’s Gazprom Jan–Mar RAS net profit slides 15% to 163 bln rbl

MOSCOW, May 14 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian gas giant Gazprom decreased 15% on the year to 162.5 billion rubles in January–March, according to the company’s report released Wednesday.

The financial results were calculated under Russian Accounting Standards.

Revenue rose 9% to 1.189 trillion rubles. Balance sheet profit fell 14% to 222.032 billion rubles.
